Payton is our first lab and the things she finds to carry around in her mouth continually cracks me up.* I had no idea that labs use their mouths like a pair of hands.* So, the other evening, I was making supper.* I started carrying mustard and ketchup to the table (for burgers) and I thought "Payton could do this".* Lo and behold, I set the ketchup bottle on the floor, told my DH to call her, and off she trotted and carried the ketchup bottle to him.* I tried it with the mustard and this time she ran off with it like it was her prize :P* *Still something fun to work on.
So...what do your "service" dogs carry for you???
CJ will bring sodas to me (SU has to get it out of the fridge). He brings his jewelry (collar) when he wants to go out. He brings his leash when he wants a walk or car ride.
He brings blue-bear (a stuffie) when he wants water (I have no idea why).
