I shouldn't laugh but.....

After teaching Simon not to steal the newspaper from the magazine rack or off the coffee table, I found him standing at the coffee table, chewing the paper as it still lay there. Apparently he figured that stealing was the problem but eating it in situ wasnt.

What do your dogs do that pushes the rules but you cant help laughing at.


Ive attached a photo.....is it obvious which of these 2 should NOT be on the couch? I guess if you squish up real small, nobody will notice?

What do your dogs do that pushes the rules but you cant help laughing at.

When we tell CJ to sit/stay he will once in a great while scooch across the floor on his bum (must get rug burn!). I guess when the temptation is too great, he thinks that staying just means keeping his star on the floor - not staying where he is.

My pup's not allowed on the furniture, but trying to convince her of that has been an ongoing battle since she was big enough to jump up. When we tell her "OFF!" she usually sinks in deeper or rolls over onto her back with that "I'm so darn cute look." We persist in training her that her place is on the floor, (she gives us a really put out look when we make her lay on the carpet :) but when she's up on the sofa and does the roll onto her back, loose jowls, toothy grin look it takes us all our time not to laugh.......'cause she IS so darn cute!

I had a dog once that my brother taught, behind my back, to sit she would lay down-to lay down she would sit. It made me so mad, but it was so funny.

that really made me laugh ;D I dont remember of anything that Bear would do like that, but when she wasnt allowed on the bed, my husband would try to get her off the bed by saying down... and as down is lay down, that is what she would do but ON the bed ;D I couldt help but laugh at him ;D

That's funny - how their brain works so logically.
M&J know they are not allowed to jump on the kitchen table, but if there is something good there, their tongues lick around the table edges as far as the tongue can reach.
