We recently were given a labrador puppy. And not just a locally bred pup but a very expensive english Kimvalley pup who had to be tested, vaccinated, chipped and then flown all the way from England to our home - in New Zealand. It must have cost my crazy, wonderful God Parents somewhere between $10k - $15k!* But because he was just a wonderful gift - he didnt cost us a penny.
But then we discovered that our fridge/freezer was too small for Simons Raw Food Diet.....solution. New fridge/freezer.
Then he starts shedding. Navy blue couchs v yellow labrador hair....solution. 1 new lounge suite.
Same problem with large deep red floor rug......solution,* new rug.
Vaccum cleaner not coping well with shedding.......soultion, new vaccum cleaner.
And now......the car. Dog hair throughout even though he only travels in the back........we really need another (dog free) car
oh and wouldnt it be nice if we had a bigger house......you know, big enough so Simon could have a brother or sister......!
A wonderful, healthy, happy labrador pup.....free....but for the rest? Thank god there's Mastercard!

OMG... I loved this!! This is so us. Ender was a gift from my parents as well and we have spent more money (including a freezer for a RAW diet, new condo, considering a new car... )
Boy, does this sound familiar. You're my kind of people...dog people.
