I was looking at Oona's breeders website the other day (Lugger Labradors, Port Crane, NY) and Elizabeth, one of her half-sisters is having a litter next month. I looked at the sire's linage and his dam's parents are Dickendal dogs. I've seen and heard this name before, does anyone know their history, where they are or were located?

Zilla has some Dickendall in her too, from her grandaddy's side.
Me, Abzilla and the Helomonster.
Essy is a Clark daughter (Dickendall's Davaron Gable). ;D
The most recent Lab quarterly has an awesome article about Arnold too. It talks about how you can always spot a Dickendall pup. That line can reliably produce little cookie cutter Dickendall Labs. Kendall has done an awesome job creating her trademark line. She is also well known for breeding for temperament. All of her males run together without any issues.

Donna no, I rent and luckly my landlord lets me have Oona but I don't think they would let me have two. Plus after working in rescue for the past 5 years I think the next dog I get will be a rescue.
Spencer, the puppies sire is Clark's, son.
They are one of the TOP and very influencial breeders in this country. Arnold has been bred many times and many dogs are related to him.
