Update on Gage and Sammy

Gage had his surgery this morning and so far my vets are pretty optimistic. They used a new technique that, if it works, they will patent! So, good thoughts and prayers for Mr. Gage in hopes that this does the trick for him and he can be on his way to a happy and healthy life!

Sammy was just xrayed. Vet says good news is that it's a tibular fracture and it's begun to heal. Bad news is that because they didn't properly cast it, it's crooked. They will have to rebreak it to heal correctly, but since he's so young, it should heal fast. He's going under this afternoon to be neutered and to get his leg rebroken. They will check his fecal and bathe him a little later this morning.

Great news on Gage! That is fantastic. I hope he continues to make good progress so you can find him a home quickly.
