We walk straight out our backyard and into the woods and down a logging trail for about 5 minutes to this pretty area. I call it "the meadow". We see ducks in the spring, praying mantis in the summer, and lots of deer in the fall and winter. I love the knarled old tree in the middle. Oh excuse the skinny tail - Clint is just starting to get his coat back.
This was so pretty - these little baby pines are soft and furry all around us.
Clint found a hockey puck!
What a lovely little spot you have... and all to yourself it seems! Great pictures.
Love, love, love the pic of Clint with the stick coming out of the little marshy/bog area. Love it.

What a beautiful place. It must be wonderful to have a place like that practically in your own backyard! When there are deer there, does Clint ever go after them?

Those are wonderful pictures, especially the second one, with the leaf in his mouth - and also the one of Clint and your daughter. It's amazing how much they love the water, even when the weather is freezing cold. Bodie had a full-body swim in the river here yesterday and boy, was he ever frisky when he came out! Clint looks like he's in lab heaven in the water!
What a lovely place for a walk!!
Clint has a great playground there! Lots of fun 'stuff' to get into!

Lovely!! I'm scared to walk anywhere by myself these days! Nice that you have that place.
Such a beautiful place to take Clint! And he looks so happy!
