    DefaultHouston, we have a problem...

    ...Come in Houston?*

    Hello?*

I think the satellite receptor might be broken...

Houston, this is the Tobsternaut, and the satellite dish is definitely beyond repair.

Yep, that would be Space Boy, who broke free of his collar.* And then broke the collar.* I think he's feeling just fine.* Fortunately, he didn't dislodge the bandaging (version 2.4 after all of yesterday's mishaps), but he is getting to spend the rest of the afternoon at the vet's office.* The wound looks fine, they've cleaned it again and re-bandaged (version 3.1), and he'll be getting a replacement space collar.* Unfortunately, they don't carry the kevlar reinforced variety, so I have no great hopes that the new one will fare any better than the first, but we shall see.* I'm just glad that the only mess was plastic and not blood.

So, in the interests of being philosophical, I must pose the Eternal Question:

What is the sound of one ear flapping?

Oh, Toby, I'm sorry you hate the satellite collar. I hope you can bear the replacement long enough for your wound to heal.

Well at least he's feeling well enough to play! Poor Toby. How long until his bandages are supposed to come off?

Poor Tobsternaut! I'm sure that his Canine Overlords from the Planet Labradoria instructed him to destroy the satellite dish after their last apocalyptic message. Just watch out for beams of light in the neighborhood of the Ex-pen for the next few days.
