I went to bed last night thinking of Paige, Tracey & John, Blanco, the cats (the new foster family) and those dear sweet puppies.* So as you can imagine, I had the new puppies in most of my dreams.* I guess that's when it came to me - the names for our new girls.
I wanted to use special names, ones that meant something to me, to many of us, and names that would make us smile each time we thought of them.* Names that would get these girls started off on the right paw* so-to-speak, and so I'd like to introduce you all to...........
Libby (yellow in the center of the shot)
Darby (even though Labby does NOT produce Chocos )
She has a teeny bit of white on the tip of her tail.
and last but certainly not least.....Shanny - who protested the most and the loudest during the photo shoot
and yes...Shanny does have white on her head and chest and a little on her feet.
And just a few more photos for your viewing pleasure
Another of Teddie with Darby behind her and Libby underneath her
This one includes the sister they lost last night
Libby & Shanny
Oh my, what wonderful names! And yes they did bring a big smile. If only I was closer .....
*awww* How sweet that you named them in honor of other well-known pups & JL regulars!!!
It makes me :'( to think that this gal was going to be put down & all these little babies with her.
I will never ever understand how people can look at a dog (or anything living creature) & think of doing that.
Heck, I get all torn up just thinking about what might have happened to my baby Lexi if L4R had not pulled her from that shelter in Lake Charles LA & I had adopted her.
My pretty girl, Lexi!
Classic names and adorable little faces...Their story is a miracle.
And so true Deb...Lexi is SUCH a sweetheart.
Very special names you have picked for a special litter
They are just so precious!
I hope someone can foster them right now...I swear if I lived closer I would foster them all,* just to get them into a nice, warm whelping box. Paige's poor elbows are all torn up, she needs some TLC as well. What a noble little mother she is. Please keep us posted. And thanks for saving all of their lives. Really THANK YOU!
Bless your heart for saving these precious dogs. I hope each and every one of them finds a loving forever home ASAP.
Adorable. I wished I lived closer as well.
Bless your (and Paige's) heart - keep us updated on their progress!
