I took Tal for his second round of shots today and he is up to 25.6 lbs at 13 weeks! Vet said he looks really good. He was incredibly hyper tho with all the dogs and people there. I held him the whole time and man did he wanna get down and play. Everyone thought he was a bit older because of his size. He is normally not nearly that hyper but I figure with all the people and the doggies plus one parrot he wanted to play with. My vet said she wished everyone was as cautious with their dogs as I am with him until they have been fully vaccinated.
One thing I got really irritated about tho. My arm is almost healed from when Tal was really bitey. He has gotten 1000% better and I am very proud of him. This lady with her twq girls came and sat next to me with one of those little yappy kind of dogs. I had just gotten Tal calmed down and here we go again. It wasn’t like there was no other place to sit. When I was leaving that lady’s husband said I needed an arm pad to which I laughed and said he’s just being a puppy and before I could say anything else he said ya and just think what he will do when he is grown. I have been scratched a lot worse on a camping trip..jerk.
Glad Tal had a good healthy vet visit.

The worst part about those first few visits to the vet is sitting in the waiting room...Millie would bark and do some screechy, whiney sound it was funny and embarassing...She's alot better now though
I'm glad all checked out beleive me other people just don't understand labs. Either you love them or you don't.
What a rude a$$!!!!before I could say anything else he said ya and just think what he will do when he is grown. I have been scratched a lot worse on a camping trip..jerk.
Glad he had a good visit! Now you have to show us a new picture of him

Oh, soon enough Tal will have every chance to get down and play. It's so hard to restrain them.
25 pounds!* I knew Tal wouldn't stay a puppy, but it seems like the time has flown . . .*
Sounds like his vet is pleased with him (and you!) too.
Aw, don't let the comments bother you. You're going to hear them for the rest of your and Tal's life. You guys are doing just fine.

I am just amazed at how many ignorant people there are in the world, and they can't seem to keep their mouths shut.
If it's any comfort, in the 5 years I've had Boomer, I've gotten WAAAY more compliments on how beautiful or sweet or friendly he was than the comments from the dumb people that just shouldn't talk. I think you'll find the same with Tal over time.
