DefaultNLR - Good epilepsy sites for dogs? My dad's BC is now on meds.

We knew Tucker had a few seizures but yesterday I guess it was so bad they went to the vet's with him in mid seizure still. He's now on meds. I know Nance and a few others have epi dogs, can you guys give me a link to a good site to send to my dad, or your permission to send him your email or me send you his email so he can ask you stuff?

Poor baby :'( That would just break my heart.

OK, I can't figure it out. What's a BC? Boston Chowhound? ;D Seriously, I can't figure it out.

I'd see if there is a Yahoo group for dogs with epilepsy. I bet there is. You can learn a lot and get support from others going through the same thing.

There is a Web site at http://www.canine-epilepsy.com/ that has resources and links to an e-mail list (which I'm not on).

    Also http://www.canine-epilepsy.net/.

Nance pointed me toward this book, which I found useful: http://www.amazon.com/Canine-Epileps.../dp/0967225337

I belong to this group on Yahoo....they are great and full of info. http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/k...guid=159493363

    This site is GREAT: http://www.canine-epilepsy-guardian-angels.com/

    Try this one too: http://www.dogtorj.net/id2.html

I was really freaked out when Riley had to start epi meds, but these sites and a couple members here really helped me out.
