SU gave Perris a piece of uncooked spaghetti tonight and dropped it on the tile floor.

It was hysterical to watch Perris try to get it in her mouth.

She finally did, though, and she ate it!

Ranger apparently likes uncooked spaghetti also.

He has a habit that when he gets a really good treat that cannot be gulped down in a bite, he takes it to the other end of the room away from the other dogs to eat it in peace. One night last month I was making spaghetti. One single piece of uncooked spaghetti fell to the floor. Since Ranger was laying on the other side of the kitchen gate, I gave it to him. With the single strand of spaghetti sticking out of both sides of his mouth, he dutifully trotted to the other side of the room to eat his treat.

This is popular in our house, too! Theo absolutely loves uncooked spaghetti. When I get out the tall skinny container with the pasta in it, he sits patiently, hoping hoping hoping hoping that some will fall on the floor. I usually "accidentally" drop some and tell him to take it, so all that work and hope isn't for nothing.

The best is when the one piece of spaghetti gets in the grout line of the tile. It takes them FOREVER to pick it up. It's almost as much fun as the peanut butter.

Yes, Katharine! Her ears get that little bump on them -- you know what I mean -- like she's trying really hard to focus.
