    DefaultAnother lab size question!

OK, so i know there have been tons of posts about lab size, but I figured it might be easier to just ask in relation to my pup. I have never had a lab before and i was wondering how big other peoples lab puppies were at certain ages, and how big they eventually grew into. My little lab, Rex, was 30 lbs when we brought him to the vet 3 weeks ago, and now yesterday he was up to 42 lbs. He just turned 4 months a couple days ago.....So how big were yours guys labs at those ages? And what type of fun do I have to look forward to?? Thanks for all the help!!

I can't remember Wesley at that age, but he now weighs in at a muscle-bound 96lbs. He's 6.5 years old.

I cant remember right now what Mambo was at when he was four months. Not sur eif it will help but he is now7 months and at 50 pounds. A friend of mine has a lab/female. She didnt get to 50 pounds until she was 10 months.

I am new to the lab/puppy. But I can tell you its gets better, or does it? Its alot of fun either way

The best judge of the future size of your puppy is his parent's size.

At 5 months of age, Sami was 48 lbs. BUT ... she's now 15 months old and 55 lbs. Her parents were not large labs and neither is she!

I can't remember sunshine's size at different ages but she is now 70lbs at 2.5 yrs. Her brother Finnigan was 35lbs at 3.5 months and at 7.5 months (next monday) he is at 68lbs. We are guessing at a full grown weight of 95 - 110lbs at 2 yrs. They both have the same parents so it is a male/female difference.

42lbs at 4 months...my guess is that your boy will be pretty big. I agree that looking at the parents gives you a good idea of your pups future size.

I can't remember what my dogs were at that age. Now they are Joker; 2 years old; 58lbs....Murph; 3 years old; 60lbs...Maisy; 6 years old; 70lbs.

Your best bet is to judge by his parent's size.

Gunny was 50 lbs at 5 months I thought he was going to be huge. He's a little over 1 yr old and is about 70 lbs.
