Update 7:39
Paged the vet, she said that its probably just from him having diarrhea for so long. Keep an eye on him and if he still has it in the morning bring him in. 2 Amodium AD is what she said to give him. Thanks for all the good thoughts, I certainly felt them all. AS bad as I want to sleep in my own bed since I havent since Thurs night, I think Ill be sleep on the couch with Bear.

Bear just had diarrhea again. When he came in I needed to wipe his butt. There was a bit of blood on the napkin. Now Im really worried. Im going to call the ER vet, but could use some good thoughts or something to make me feel alot better.
I don't have any advice, but I sure hope Bear's okay.... sending out good thoughts your way.

What type of HW preventative is he on? From my experience with rescue dogs, the blood usually indicates hookworms. Hope it is as simple as that.

I don't know if Heartguard covers hooks .... I do know that Inteceptor does. Is he eating or drinking at all?
Sending good thoughts.

Okay, I just checked and Heartgard DOES cover hooks. If he's lethargic, not eating or drinking, I'd prolly take him in; but that's just me. Please keep us posted.
i agree with zoezoe, if bear's appetite and activity level seem okay, i would take him to the vet in the morning for the fecal exam. they will be able to tell you right away what the problem is and get the right meds to help bear get better in a jiffy.
