We took Clarence over to a new dog sitter's house yesterday so he could meet her two Dobermans and get used to her house before we leave him there overnight at the end of the month. She introduced one Doberman at a time (one is a rescue from a puppy mill and the other is a rescue from a shelter-really sweet dogs) and Clarence did some serious butt tucking around her dining room table. We had seen glimpses of butt tucking but never like this! He looked like a little white ball! No wonder why the people at doggie day care call him the "White Streak"! He and the Dobermans got along famously and after sniffing and letting Clarence know who is the alpha dog in the house, they all plopped down for a nap together. We'd love to see some more butt tucking--but outside next time!
LOL! that is too cute...I love when they break into the butt tucking. Yesterday at the Lab Fest, Emma and Jack Ryan were playing bitey face, and Jack is much bigger than Emma...it was so funny to watch her try her darndest to get the better of him! And when she finally realized it just wansn't happenin, she broke out into the butt tucking.
I can picture him doing it and also can picture why they call him white streak lol!
Glad Emma found a way to escape! When in doubt, BUTT TUCK!
How cute! Did the dog sitter laugh?
Brenda, Sam & Bodie
Yes, she was hysterically laughing! The sitter also watches my parents' Wheaton terrier--that breed does a thing called the "Wheaton run"--they run and run and run and then just stop. I said that I thought Clarence thought he was a Wheaton yesterday--she laughed at that too!
