Okay, this is a new one for tuck..
He's continually begging me to go out.. problem is, i put him out and he goes to town on the lawn.. i bring him in.. the pukes up grass.
THREE TIMES today.. i didn't clean up the first pile this morning, but twice within the past hour.. he's not lethargic or seem any different.. but he's begging to go out as i type this and i just cleaned up his vomit a minute ago.
I know dogs eat grass to enduce it when they're not feeling well.. but this much?
hmm.. i'm thinking now.. maybe it's the antibiotics he's on for his hot spots/skin rash?
Poor guy! His stomach probably is upset from the antibiotics. Prudence's stomach is really sensitive to antibiotics so the vet has me give her a full meal with them. Hope he feels better soon.

Absolutely - those things reek havoc on your stomach without food in it. Can you break up his meals so that he has a few small ones throughout the day?
What time does he get this dose(s)?
Brenda from Connecticut
Make sure you're giving the antibiotics with food.

Maybe some Pepto to coat his stomach and stop the vomiting? He's got to keep his meds down. Poor thing..hope he feels better soon.
Awww..that's a shame. Those things are rough on the stomach. Like everyone said, give with food. Even if you need to feed 3x/day
okay.. i didn't give him any with breakfast just to give him a break.. i'll give him his regular dose with dinner instead of before bed this time, to see if that helps.
He's itchy like crazy today too.. poor guy.. this skin thing is kicking our ass these last couple weeks.
Kelli, the same thing is happening here :-\ No antibiotics, though.
Angus threw up Friday night, and again just now. Both times it's been whatever he last ate plus some grass. I followed him outside to see what he would do, and the first thing he did was go looking for some grass to munch. Not much to be found in our yard :, but he went straight for a little patch with some weeds.
He seems a little lethargic, too. I'm slightly worried. :-\

I hope Tucker get to feeling better real soon. Nutmeg has had the skin itches this past week. She is driving us up the wall with them. And I can't figure out why she has them right now.
