Ok so earlier I took Tal out to do his business and I keep a close watch on what he wants to chew or eat when outside. I thought he was about to chew what looked like an old beehive or wasp nest remains and reached down to pick it up and throw it out of reach. It was soft and mushy and had to be poop of some kind. I have never seen white poop! Needless to say I whisked Tal away quickly to another spot and got inside and washed my hands as quickly as I could. Fortunately he didn’t ingest any so my diligence paid off. I wasn’t surprised to find poop…but white??!!
Yeah, sometimes you do see white poop. LOL
Off hand I can think of two reasons:
1. If weather conditions are right, poop will age to a white color.
2. A dog who eats raw bones will propduce white poop.
Good thing you got to it before Tal did!
And either ROLLED in it or snacked on it :
What an unpleasant surprise! Ewwww! Apollo points when he finds poop-so we always know-knucklehead!
Tal will sniff and so I watch 'cause dead dry leaves are a delicacy to him..lol I have taken them, sticks, etc out of his mouth so much now that when he sees my hand coming towards his mouth sometimes he just drops whatever it is. I was gonna jus throw thisout of reach and that's when I felt it... :-X :-X
Yeah I am glad I got it before he did...well I learn something new with him each and every day!
