...ended up on our living room floor, after a brief tour of Angus' stomach. :
I stopped at Wild Oats and got us a mix and match dinner...what was left in the deli that looked good. Veggie sushi, some salmon for me, some cheese lasagna for Kevin, hummus, edamame caviar (yum!), and some small pita shells for the hummus.
Everything went into the living room with us while the boys were baby gated in the kitchen. Everything except for the pita shells left in the bag.
I heard an unfamiliar noise coming from the kitchen with my Lab-mom bat-ears. I got up to look and saw Simon counter surfing, his head in the bag of pita shells! He got a good scolding, and I remarked how angelic Angus was. He was just standing there watching, not going for the pita shells at all.
Ten minutes later, we let them into the living room. I heard another unfamiliar noise, and came into the living room to find Angus standing above a pile of... ??? Food? That he had just barfed.
Among the contents of his stomach were tonight's meal, a bunch of grass, the salmon I gave the boys cause I thought it was too fishy, and a few WHOLE pita shells. :
Apparently Simon was counter-surfing them and tossing them down to Angus.
So, stomach rest tonight? Regular meal in the morning? Rice breakfast? What do you think? He seems OK otherwise, I think. I hope it was just too much, too fast.
