Bitey face is competition between two labs and starts while running or standing:

Biting is not permitted below the neck.

Contestants may continue lying down.

There may be coaches and spectators.

The contest may be rough

but in the intrest of good sportsmanship, contestants make up in the end.

I must show this to Billie and Mini Me. They did not abide by these rules this morning and MiniMe went scurrying for the bushes, then attacked from her hiding spot. Then she had to go home... ::) She bit below the neck and hung on even when all four feet were off the ground and Billie squealed. Her dad said she had to go to time out. To be fair, Billie had been whooping on her pretty good before that.

A rules review will do them both good. Thanks!!

Oh, dear, and I didn't know the rules for bitey face at all, so now we'll all have to sit down and have a review.  ;D Especially the below-the-neck thing. Gigi tends to grab a mouthful of whatever piece of George she can reach and while he doesn't mind, I do.  :police: So I try to supervise bitey face sessions, like I expect them to actually LISTEN to ME.
