the silly girl was right under my feet as always while I was getting their breakfast...abby decided it was bitey face time and molly went to jump towards her and she hit her head on our utensil drawer She hit it pretty hard and shook her head twice but I think she's ok. I've never seen a dog hit their head that hard

Awww.... yes, I've seen CoCo hit her head pretty hard on the bottom of the coffee table.... ouch!
~Jo & CoCo
Mocha has a HARD head she's hit it pretty hard on numerous occasions and didn't make anything of it. Mostly she hits it on this counter that hangs over two wall cabinets that are siting on the floor the counter is maybe 42" high and her food is next to it so when I'm getting it out she'll get excited and jump and nail her head on the underside of the counter....dosn't phase her...

We have a water tank on the fence line so that the horses can drink whichever side they are kept.
Jasper is used to running full pelt and ducking under the bottom rail at the last moment !
Why he chose to duck under the rail where the water tank was I will never know and how he didn't break hi neck I will never know but he is still with us three years on !
I wouldn't worry about Mollys head ! Labs are so strong !
Tucker slammed into my parent's brick house head-first and kept going once... i think he was butt-tucking and i'm not sure he noticed.
I screamed.. he continued on.
That is a daily occurance at my house....Dakota and Denail play under the coffee table and then there is this loud clunk...i can't believe that they are OK after that hit on the head.....they must have hard heads...LOL
They certainly must have hard heads. Clarence smacks his head all the time and just keeps going about his business. He mostly does it on the wall corners, when he turns around really quickly but is too close to the wall. Hope Molly is ok!
I read somewhere that Lab's heads are unusually strong, because way back when they were used as fishing dogs, they sometimes broke ice with their heads.
That happened to Emma too once, she hit her head very hard in a table, I got really worried but she seamed to be fine and she has never had any problems after that either.
So don't worry Stace, they are like kids: they are more hardheaded than you think!
