I toss a big stick for the dogs to get. As all you lab lovers know the bigger the better and we had found one about six feet long. So they run off after it, both carrying an end as the run and wrestle for it once they get there. They were taking a while so I whistled for them and turned around to do something. What happened next should have been on tape. They ran on either side of me....still holding the stick! Yup Mom went up in the air and down on her back!! They turned and looked at me like "What happened Mom?" Then I get bombarded by labs thinking Mom must want to play!!
It was to precious I had to share it! Hope everyone gets a laugh out of it....I am.
Ouch! I hope you're ok. I don't have two at home, but at the park I'm always have to dodge Lexie and other dogs who are "sharing" toys. I can't imagine a six foot stick.
They say laughter is the best medicine, I'm glad they invited you to play. ;D
The bigger the better you can say that again. Oona won't bother with anything that is under six feet long. This spring, I am not kidding, she pulled a stick out of the woods that was 20 feet long and she wanted me to throw it into the water. : It's so funny because there are a regular group of runners that I see every morning that will just keep going buy once they saw her swimming in with that stick they had to stop. Almost like it was recognition of one athlete to another.
I hope you are ok. But, oops, sorry for laughing, but that was too funny. I could just picture this. It should be on one of the funny shows. ;D
OOOOPs!!! I can just picture the whole thing! ;D ;D ;D (And I really hope you didn't get hurt!)
Thanks for the good laugh!
