Just curious. I came home yesterday after a few hours of errands to discover that Sami had thrown up multiple times. Unlike other times, I can't really trace it to anything -- although she seemed to be mainly throwing up grass! : She's back to normal today. This seems to happen to us every few months. So I'm curious ... how often does your lab have "GI issues"? :P
Jazzy is over a year old, and I don't recall her ever throwing up. Jake on the other hand, has a habit of counter surfing and will then proceed to get sick. He has thrown up twice tonight after helping himself to the food table at the lab fest.
Miller has never thrown up that I know of and he's 3 1/2. My cattle dog husky mix throws up maybe 3-4 times a year?
That first year, I'll bet Angus averaged throwing up once every two weeks.
Simon has not thrown up since we've had him (over a year).
Crash never threw up, in 10 1/2 years. Not that I ever saw, anyway.
Connie and "The Boys":
Angus, Yellow Lab, CGC, RE, CD
Simon, d.b.a. Flat Coated Retriever, CGC, RE, CD
Gone ahead, but forever in my heart:
Crash, Pit Bull x Rottweiler x Golden Retriever
Murph and Maisy get sick quite often. Every couple of months. I put it down to the fact that they eat anything.* :
Joker has only been sick once or twice. He doesn't scavenge so is rarely ill.
Trick, my GSD/Border Collie cross, has never been sick in his life. He has never had any health issues at all, sickness or otherwise.
Paddy: Maybe three times in almost 10 years
Seamus: Once in almost four years
Flynn: Never in the two years I've had him (except for his epilepsy and I don't count that)
Seamus and Flynn
Well Libby tossed a couple of days ago, but that was from eating too much puppy crap. Other than that mine rarely get sick.

The first year we had Tucker he had, what seemed like, constant diarrhea and was at the vet frequently. I attribute this to his being 'badly bred' as we got him from a pet store (I now know that this was not the best option ... however I wouldn't trade him for anything). In this his second year he has not had the same problems - thank goodness! Tuck will throw up occasionally but it is generally grass and stick matter.
Like Sami, Emma sometimes throws up. We notice it mostly in the morning.
Besides that, she is very very healthy. (knock wood)
Sam has not thrown up that I know of in the year I've had him. (He's two)
