I just got some pictures in the mail from one of our adoptors...well, repeat adoptors. In April of 2005 they adopted Ben (was Dusty) from us. At that time they had a 9 year old black female. Ben bacame their new shining star. This past March, they decided to adopt one of the Valentines pups from us and as much as they had forgotten what life was like with a pup, they had a great time. This past June they all came down for our rescue romp and Ben and Lorna were tested for their TDI. Both passed.
In late July, Lorna crossed the Rainbow bridge. They miss her everyday but are still enjoying their "throw away" kids. And I thought I would share what life is like for these two lucky dogs that were both moments away from being PTS.
Ben is the yellow male and Molly is the black female. They live on a private lake near Traverse City, MI. I would love to live there. Molly is well on her way to becoming a dock dog.

Obviously they have too hard of a life! Wonderful for them all - certainly looked loved - and if you move I'm comming too!
Wouldn't it be nice to live at a place like that? I have been looking for some land so I can have a pond for the dog(s) to play in.
Congrats on well-placed labs in a forever home!
Lucky dogs! I would love to have a place like that for JAT.
I'm Jenn. Keeper of two labs in my home and one forever in my heart.
Throw the ball, damn it!
WOW good for them! I thought Bosco now Bosley hit the jackpot in Vermont..but wow a private lake..labby heaven!!
That's fabulous! Its so great to hear success stories... Its just so interesting how those dogs came from such different backgrounds, and find themselves siblings in doggy heaven with owners to love! What a great family!

Wonderful story Dani. What truly lucky pups they are.
What a wonderful life for dogs that were once considered 'throw aways'. Their home is lovely, and what I'd consider a dog's dream!!!
Run free, Lorna!
