DefaultWhat my dog has taught me

The importance of the phrase "let sleeping dogs lie" Instead of shhh don't wake up the baby its shhh don't wake up the puppy!

How amazing it is that cats always land on all fours, while puppies always land on their faces...

That a little pee on the floors here and there just makes for cleaner floors in the end.

That sometimes you just have to deal with it when you think you are starving. Sometimes or all the time in Gannon's case.

What has your dog taught you??

Now can someone please teach Gannon that he is just getting tooooo big to sleep on my lap at the computer desk.

remind him of how comfortable he was upside down under the desk............. or on Sully

    LOL

That dog hair really does make everything taste better.

Having the bed to myself wan't really all it was cracked up to be.

An animal that supposedly can't reason...can tell time.

    A dog's mouth really isn't cleaner than a humans.

Poop must not taste as bad as I thought.

My cable company replaces remotes for free.

My cell phone company only replaces phones for free is you have insurance.

    Hehe! Very cute thread!

I have learned that a two year old child throwing a fit because they are too tired is much easier to remedy than a two year old Lab throwing a fit because they are not tired enough.

I have learned that a 58 pound Lab sitting on me is much more effective than an alarm clock when it's time to get up.

True joy is expressed best by leaping and spinning in order to get the ball thrown. Then realizing that won't work, sitting gets the job done.* I have learned hysterical laughter does not get her to sit but being quiet does.

I have learned that even my dog hates it when I have to do homework.* *;D

That I could love another pup, just as much as I loved the one I lost- just differently!! - and that it is nearly impossible to type on your lap top, when your furbaby is hitting your hands with there paw's, because she think's it's time for a game of fetch!!

my dog has taught me that ....

whatever disgusting thing she has gotten into today can be topped by whatever disgusting thing she will get into tomorrow.

that blades of grass eaten whole will come out whole, and usually stuck

that cats heads are pretty good when chewed

that sleeping under the covers is nice and warm, no wait, now i'm too warm, no wait, no i'm cold again, no wait, too warm.......

that black hefty garbage bags are scary and should be barked at at all times

that swimming is the greatest joy ever

that owning a lab was the best thing i ever did!

The first time Rowdy had to go out when he got home he almost had an accident. I dug our Midnite's leash and there was so much moisture in my eyes I couldn't see to get in on him.

    To live in the moment.
That I live in one of the prettiest areas of the country.
The responsibility of taking care of someone else, and loving it.
