Well he slept thru the entire night last night! And he ate out of his bowl and I didn't need to hand feed him Yesterday I lured him to his bowl with some kibble in my hand, and praised him alot as he was eating out of his bowl. I actually had time to eat my breakfast while he was eating..lol.
I also noticed his poop was alot firmer this am than it has been..like it was the first time he pooped after getting home. He goes to the same door consistently when he needs to potty. And he didn't whine at all when I left this am. A friend who works at church is letting him out at 9 and noonish so I'll be anxious to get home today and see how the little guy is doing. Man this has been a tough week...But worth every second.
Update...well when I got home today his crate was clean and he had been let out 2x today. He was glad to see me and ate alot! That made me feel good. We played a bit and when he started to get hyper and really bitey I put him in his crate. I am thinking he must have been tired because I no sooner put him in there than he nodded off!
Good job Tal!!!

Tal - your turning into quite the little man! ;D
I am putting some new pics of him in another thread...
Whoo hoo Tal!! ;D
Thanks for the update. Way to go, Tal.
We hadn't had a puppy in the house for 16 years when we got Payton this spring-as we lost our 14 year old English Setter two years ago. I had forgotten how much work puppies are. SO very glad we got Payton, though. All your hard work will pay off. Payton really seemed to turn the corner and became more independent at about 4 months, I'd say. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
I love reading about Tal! He seems like a great pup.
way to go Tal!!! Such a good boy - you should get extra treats for this!!
