    Red faceAh...A dog's life!

While John was busy doing laundry this morning (I adore this man!), I had the dogs out by the pool to enjoy some sunshine and so that I could read a book and relax a bit. We had them on a 4+ mile walk yesterday (housedogs and weekend warriors) so a little R&R was much welcome.

Always ironic that the dysplastic one is the one who chooses the hard concrete while the one who has passed all of his health clearances chooses the raised bed- completely opposite of what happens inside with the fluffy Costco dog beds (Libby) vs. the cold hard tile (Monty).

Just thought I would share my babies...I haven't shared many candid shots lately.

    Monty "chill-axing" by the pool-

And Libby "cat-napping" on the warm concrete-

    Flat-out...

    It's a dog's life for sure!

You have NO idea what the first 15 minutes were like, telling Monty "leave it!" before he finally settled in for a snooze. He was even wanting to leap in after a leaf that was floating on the surface.

I certainly didn't want to have to go through all of the drying before letting them back inside. LOL

Hardwood and wet labradors don't mix.
