    DefaultHershey Kisses is sick

6:00 am Everything fine, happy girl. Eats, poops, pees, takes good bye treat
3:00 pm Kind of not the happy girl I usually get when coming home, She vomitted some time during the day.
Out for our walk, a little retrieving, Poops and pees
4:30 pm She vomitted again, now seems fine
5:30 pm Give her food. She goes at it slow and lazy. Doesn't finish. Never happened before
6:30 pm All of her dinner that she ate comes back.
She is really subdued. Finding places away from me to lay down. Even in other rooms.

Planning on giving her boiled rice for breakfast if everything stays kind of status quo through the night.

Should I be doing something else? Does this warrant a trip to eVet?

Don't like my girl being sick.

Oh no, sorry to hear she is not herself. I don't know that I'd run right to the vet..I would wait the night and see how she goes..maybe she just has a little virus? Is there anyway she got into something today while she was alone? Hope she is back to normal soon!!!

My vets have always recommended fasting for 24 hours to give the stomach a chance to settle down. Make sure she's got plenty of fresh water on hand too.

I usually cook up some chicken breast & rice when they start eating again but don't give them their usual quantity all at once. You're better off giving her small amounts over about 4-6 hours. That reduces the chance of the vomiting recurring.

Obviously, if she seems distressed, I would get her to the vet but wait & see how she goes. Poor girl. I hope she's back to normal soon.

I would have her checked for a blockage. These are nothing to play with. It fits the symptoms.

Hope she's better. It's hard to watch them be sick.
