    DefaultA cute Simon story

That boy is just too darn cute. He really is.

Tonight I was sitting at the computer, and the boys had already done their training, been walked and fed, so they were just hanging around at my feet.

Simon gets up and wanders away, as he often does. Angus is the velcro fella.

When Simon comes back, he puts his head on the arm of my chair and I hear "crackle crackle crackle." For a moment I remembered the cicada he brought me a couple of weeks ago and was afraid to look.

He was holding his mouth funny, in a way that you could tell he was hiding something in there. I said, "Simon, what do you have?" I opened his mouth and he showed me a wrapper from a doggie bone treat. ???

I just thought it was so cute, the way he brought it to show me, instead of just inhaling it before I could sweep it out of his gullet, like another dog I know. ;D He let me have it and I threw it away, thanking him profusely for presenting it to me.

It's very strange, though...we haven't had any of those doggie treats in ages! I have no idea where he could have gotten it. ???

Good boy, Simon! They are so funny sometimes. Dixie has done the same thing with gum wrappers before, but I have two teenage boys to blame for having stuff like that lying around! LOL

lol at simon-good boy buddy! It reminds me of my post last week regarding secret stashes: where they are and what might be in them. Looks like Simon has one too!

I remember the secret stash post! I didn't think there was one, but perhaps I was wrong!

Awwww.....Simon! What a good boy you are.

Riley will do the same thing (not necessarily by bringing stuff to me) but will carry contraband items in his mouth. It is almost imperceptible, but I can always tell when he is "carrying."
