My sister has a German Shepherd and when we were at her house Brigetta was running pretty hard in her backyard with him. I was wondering if this is too much for her. I know it isn't forced, but I don't want her to over do it (she'll be 7 months on September 1st). They aren't just running and jumping around, they will actually run hard and fast back and forth through the yard at full speed. It's like watching racing dogs. After I saw her doing this I made her come inside. Is this something that is ok for a few minutes or should I not allow her to run with him at all. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

She should be fine. Running around off leash with other dogs is great exercise. Off leash, non-forced exercise is way different from forced running on a leash because the dog can stop and run at its own pace. As long as she is not running for hours every day and exhausting herself, keep at it...you will have one happy, tired dog.*
It's fine. She'll stop and pant when it's enough. Just make sure they have water.

It's the ideal exercise. Let her have fun!
