    DefaultIce Cubes

So, our new 12 week old puppy Maui has taken quite a liking to Ice Cubes, even better than the frozen t-shirt to gnaw on. He goes right into the crate if I toss a few ice cubes in there and the keep him occupied for a good 10 minutes, plus it is funny to watch how he chases the cube around as it slides around the crate. Hehe.

.... Ice cubes are OK, right?

Ice cubes are okay. Im not sure I would give them to my girls in their crate. I am one to worry over EVERYTHING. Id be afraid a little puppy would get excited and maybe choke on it.

We have gotten toys they CANT chew up and put thoes in the freezer to get them REALLY cold and they seem to like them also!

Absolutely! Frankie is a big ice lover, too

When he starts teething, he'll really appreciate it! I used to take a wet washcloth and toss it in the freezer and let him chew on it after it was frozen.

Both my DOGS love ice cubes! It's the first thing they get when I come home.

Same here, Tucker loves ice cubes. The frozen twisted washcloth is great for teething too. Tucker has had this odd habit ever since we brought him home as a puppy...he doesn't drink much water inside, but drinks outside. I always keep water both inside and out, and give him ice cubes too, so he's getting enough liquid.

    Ice cubes are fine.*

Mine don't touch icecubes unless I freeze a bit of food in them.* :

theo's like lizzie..... as soon as he hears the freezer door open his ears prop up, and if he hears the ice tray he comes running like a mad man!

Ya same, Phoebe knows the sound of the freezer door! Another fun trick is putting ice cubes in their water and watching them bob for them... ;D

Haley loves ice cubs but she does tend to get bored with them off and on. For a special treat I'll make ice cubes out of some diluted chicken broth and those are always a big hit. ;D
