(just in case you couldn't see him!)
Poor thing - our daughter is wearing him out.* She had to cover him with his towel to make sure he was comfy.*
That's a beautiful picture!! He's going to sleep alot in the beginning - he's a baby after all Before you know it, you'll be praying that he'll settle down and go to sleep :P

Awwwww, he's sooooo cute Debra! So glad everyone is doing so well.
Amy - LOL, that's what I keep telling my daughter - remember this, because there will come a day when you wish he'd take a nap!
He was so worn out.* He slept from about 8:00 until 10:30pm.* I took him out and he promptly took care of business. He came right in and went to sleep at my feet (in the TV room).* I snuck out to go on JL and I heard him yelp at 11:15.* I thought he just missed me (dumb, dumb) so I sat down to play with him.* About 5 minutes into play time he started peeing - my fault.* I picked him up and back out we went where he finished peeing.* I immediately put him to bed in his crate and I settled on the couch.* He cried for about two minutes and all was quiet.* He woke me up at 1:30 and out we went.* He immediately did his business (thank goodness cause I'm kinda a scaredy cat in the dark!) and back in the crate he went.* He cried once, I said, "shhhh" to let him know I was still there and that was it. He didn't stir again until about 5:45 when he heard hubby get up.* I grabbed my pillow and passed my hub in the hall, "He's yours now," I said, and went back to bed.* Hub says he went out and did his business right away.* I'm kinda a night owl but I think I'll have to start going to bed just a little earlier to make up for the middle of the night trips! I'm hoping to get up with him once in the middle of the night and hub can take him out early in the a.m. before work.* We'll see...
Looks like your daughter understands the concept that a tired dog is a good dog. Glad his first night went well.
