Yesterday we went shopping so Emma could pick out a toy basket for the puppy.* She was very particular - he had to be able to reach in and pick a toy and she liked the color of this one.* She came home, cut the tags off all the toys and put them in the basket.* Today, she gave me a rundown on the merits of every toy - "This one is really soft and he will like to snuggle with it." "This one he can snuggle AND chew." "This will be a fun ball, see it can roll and he'll run after it.* I'll have to keep and eye on him though."* We still haven't heard from the breeder - is this usual?* We're supposed to get him this weekend.
How cute that your daughter was so meticulous getting everything ready for her puppy! It sounds like she's thrilled. Looks like she did a great job.
Don't know what to tell you about the breeder. Could it be that this person has his/her hands full right now and hasn't gotten around to calling yet?
Ahhh, how exciting! You'll have to post lots of pics!
Oh how cool, your daughter did a great job. My breeder set up a date and time a couple of weeks before we were to pick Boo up and I didn't hear from her until we arrived to get our little black devil in labby coat. So I guess with people picking up their pups, this probably is usual. Don't forget, we want pics....lots of pics.
Your daughter is such a cutie! She sounds very mature for her age.
(Great toys and basket too!)

You guys might be sorry about requesting pictures! I'm armed with a digital camera and I'm dangerous.
We heard from the breeder!! I will pick up Emma from school on Friday (1st day - she has half a day) and we will head up. I'm sure I'll have pictures Friday evening!
Oh how exciting! That's awesome
Lexie says that basket looks really good; she would like to come over and inspect all of your toys to be sure they're puppy safe.
Great toy box!
