    DefaultTeething

I saw some blood on one of McKenzie's toys the other day so I checked and sure enough she's cutting two teeth. I notice though that on the gums around one of the older teeth (soon to fall out) it looks purple or dark red like it is bruised. I just wondered if this is normal or if i should have her checked out by the vet. She doesnt seem to be too uncomfortable as far as teething goes and she doesnt get upset when i check her mouth. The area around the other loose tooth looks fine.

Mckenzie the lab and Maddie the Mastiff wanna be.

I think the purple is just because they are coming out, remember they hurt alot. One thing you can do is take an old dish towel, tie it in a knot, get it wet and throw it into the freezer. By letting her chew on this it will help numb her gums.
