Lab is growing fast but his head seems to little for his body anyone else?
Maggie was the same way. Give your pupper some time. I find the 6month -almost a year can be the UGLY stage lol Dakota is going through the same stage some.
I think from your avatar picture your lab is really cute. From what I've read labs do go through an akward stage.
Raidernation are you in California? Just asking because of your username.
Hush Kathryn, Dakota is gorgeous!
We live in Benicia, CA . My husband is a Raider fan for life and so guess what he named his pup. RAIDER, Well his pedigree is Sir Precious Autumn Wind. I call him "you little stinker" jk.
Misty was also a pin head until about 3 weeks ago (she's just about 2). It was strange in that it seemed to happen overnight.
Aren't we comfortable!
He's going through the lanky "teenage" growth stage. His head will fill out later.
A lot of dogs go through that gangly stage.
My dog Joker had a thin head that looked out of his proportion with his body until he was about 12 months. After that he really filled out and now his head is huge. Big enough for a field Lab anyway.
Joker is the dog on the right. Murph is on left.
That is normal at that age. I look at the pictures of Bear then and she looked almost like a beagle, her hear too small and ears and body too big.
Yes! Angus was going through a pinhead stage about this time too!
His head will catch up. In the meantime, it sure looks weird, doesn't it?
