    DefaultQuick Release tag holder-BAD

    We lost a Sally tag.

I'm so sad. Stupid Quick Release thingy came undone... who knows where/when/why/how between home, the car, the park, the beach. It was the tempus sans font one too, my favorite :'( I blame myself... maybe I didn't tighten it as much as I should have or maybe it was just not up to the task.

Guess I'll be ordering another tag for Ender sooner than I thought. Nothing but S-hooks now... I *MAY* try the other tag thingy that looks like a mini collar attached. Those who have experience with this... how secure is it?

Off to cry in a corner now. I loved that tag! I should have known better not to trust something that cost me 40 cents.

We are using round eye snap hooks currently. We had one that came on her breast cancer collar and it was busted off by another dog according to the day care that she no longer goes to I ordered some more off the same web site you got the quick release and we have not had any problems yet.

Maybe if you lost it at the park someone that knows you and Ender will find it and hold it for you??

Rut roh! I just ordered some quick release tags. I'm so sorry you lost the Sally tag, Lindsay. I haven't received my Sally tags yet but now I'll think twice about using the quick release tags with them. I may just use them on the cheapy tags.

Oh, PHOOEY! I'm so upset for you, Lindsay. We haven't received our Sally tags yet, but I do have a bunch of the quick release thingys here, waiting. Darn. I'm curious about that 'mini collar' thingy you mentioned. Is there a picture of it anywhere? Since I've ordered some tags as gifts as well, I'd like to be able to present them with secure but easy ways to attach them.....

I've lost a few tags with S-hooks.* The only things I use are small keyring rings.

Hmmm... that's an idea too. I'll talk with Sally... whatever I do... it's going to be THE most secure way of doing it 'cause I love those tags. (I know some of you may think I'm crazy)

I don't think you're crazy! I'd be heartbroken over it, too. But if you're info is on it, don't give up hope yet that it might be found and returned to you. Wouldn't a phone call like that be a wonderful thing?
