    DefaultBoarded the boys again yesterday

Just overnight while we went to Knoxville.

The report from the training director was: Simon did GREAT! She said he was SOOO much more relaxed this time. Never whimpered once.

    ;D

    Way to go Simon!

Who knows, you know? I always worried that he would think he was being abandoned again. Maybe once he saw one time that this is a place he goes just temporarily and comes back from, he was fine. ?

Angus did fine too. We took the bandage off his nail from where he split it the other night. Actually we took it off that evening, or else he was going to take it off himself overnight. : And then probably eat it. They said it was mostly there just to keep him from banging it and it hurting anyway.

The boys are back home, brushed, nails done, and all is well with the world. ;D

    Glad Simon did well.
I must have missed the post about Angus' split nail. Hope it's better.

When Angus boards, is it all fun and games to him? Kinda' like, " ooo, someplace new!! I have to niff here. Oh, and what is that? Lookie! A toy!" or is he a bit uneasy? Curious...Zoe seems to be the uneasy sort of monkey.

Linda, Angus thinks EVERYTHING is a new experience meant solely for the purpose of his entertainment! The vet, boarding, whatever...he's like WOO HOOO! Bring it ON!

Simon is the shy, reserved type. He is not as game for new experiences as Angus. I'm guessing he was not introduced to a lot of different things before we got him. But part of it is just his personality, I think.

Their first times at the lake are a good baseline:

Angus: SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH. Swimming like a fish.

Simon: Well, I'll just dip my toe in. Eeeee, that feels funny! Let me try to get this wet off my feet...

;D @ Angus. Oh Angus, you silly clown.

I think Zoe is more like Simon....has to check everything out to make sure it's 100% okay... Funny, eh...these personalities.

Especially for multi-dog owners...same home; different views on life.

Yeah, it is funny! My mom says my sister and I were the same way.

She says I was her Angus, and Christy was her Simon.
