DefaultNew Problem For The Tank>>>>>>>>Does it ever stop?

A couple days ago I found a lump on him that I don't think was there before he got sick.

I had noticed that one side of his neck was droopier than the other last month and had asked SU if he thought so.* As usual he says I am imagining things.* Well I had been feeling the area alot and did not find anything but skin until this past Thursday evening.* I decided to check again and low and behold there is an oblong lump in the folds.* It is not outside the skin but inside.* Does not seem to be attached to the throat.* It does not float but seems attached to the back side of the skin.* Guess I will just keep an eye on it and possibly call Texas A&M tomorrow and just ask them about the possibility of if it gets larger quickly what the ramifications are of getting it taken out while still recoving form the encephilitis.

This boy is going to drive me to the poor house first and then the nut house right after that!

This pic I have circled where the lump is located.*

    Oh Tankie.

My dobie had a couple lumps like that. Attached to the inside of the skin. Vet told us not to worry about them. But it has been so many years ago I cannot remember what they were called.

Hope it is nothing Sandie. You know these Labs get those "lumps" alot & they are usually benign. I know you will feel better after talking to the vet.

I sure hope it's nothing serious. If you don't have to take it out now, wait. Pred, especially at the doseages that Tank has been on, slows down healing. I'll be thinking good thoughts for the dear boy....and his mom.

I feel your pain!!! Buddy is loaded with lipomas. Praying that's all it is.
Poor Tank. The expression on his face in that picture says it all. Like he's reading your mind.
