We had our JRT at a horse show last weekend and the show photographer took a pic.* I like this one, but she is asking $25 for a 5x7 and I am thinking that seems a little pricey.* *You who take such great pics of your labs -- how is it quality wise?* Is this about par for a professional picture?
This woman will probably be the show photographer at a horse show next weekend and I am planning to take Reba on one day.* If this is quality and a good price, then I may get one of her.

$25 for a 5x7 is about as good as you will do from a professional photographer, in my experience.
Incidentally, $25 is what we paid for the boys' portrait we had taken a week ago. It was by a good local portrait photographer. Her usual sitting fee would start at about $500 I would imagine, but she does this once a year as a fundraiser for our humane association. Of course, our "sitting" lasted all of five minutes. :P
For $25, we will get a 5x7 and two useless 2x3's.
