I'm in Arizona also, and yes we finally got some good rain....I can get Katie to run out and do her business, and I taught her the "go potty" command when she was a puppy (that means when it is raining you get them on a leash...and walk around with them out in the yard, in the rain...giving that command and a lot of praise...)but she does not linger...Now, the Collie we had and our Chow we use to have, they would go stand in it, and take their time, but they had so much fur, I don't think it registered for awhile that they were getting wet....
Katie cried when I gave her her first bath as a 12 week old puppy...so much for being a "water" dog....
Mocha used to go out without a problem in the rain but lately she'll go out on the deck and turn around and come back in unless I go out with her.
Rider is the same way....such a queen.

What a DIVA!
The first time it rained hard CoCo tried to "bite" the rain the same way she does water from the hose! She doesn't seem to mind it, yet!

Shadows loves the rain, too. She'll go out there and roll around on her back, making 'rain angels!' Then she runs around like a crazed squirrel while I stand in the doorway calling her to get her silly @$$ inside.Originally Posted by azlab

taylor does the same thing. ;D
she gets that pathetic look on her face, hangs her head and huddles under the overhang until she cannot hold it anymore or she figures out that i won't let her back in unless she goes potty.

Tucker doesn't care either way ... I just have to say that I laugh everytime I look at the title - FOOFOO DOG, that cracks me up ;D
Don't feel bad. I had a foofoo Pitbull! Kirby hated to go out in the rain or the cold. Wimp! LOL
