Two patients
Two patients limp into two different American Medical clinics with the same
complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.
The first patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a
time booked for surgery the following week.
The second sees the family doctor after waiting two weeks for an appointment,
then waits eighteen weeks to see an orthopedist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't
reviewed for another month and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months
from then. And its even worse if you are on Kaiser Insurance.
Why the different treatment for the two patients?
The first is a Labrador Retriever... The second is a Senior Citizen
Haha! Sad, but oh so true.
HA! HAHAHAHA!
Now that is funny.
I am so emailing this to my mom. Just yesterday I was saying, "I wish I liked my doctors as well as I like the boys' vet."
Connie and "The Boys":
Angus, Yellow Lab, CGC, RE, CD
Simon, d.b.a. Flat Coated Retriever, CGC, RE, CD
Gone ahead, but forever in my heart:
Crash, Pit Bull x Rottweiler x Golden Retriever
And given their lifespan I say why not
I would gladly give up 5 years of my life to give my boys another year of comfort
