Guess who popped 2 stitches today while trying to play with Kona...WITH the cone on!
So, he's at the vet as we speak getting a couple more stitches put in-and getting his face cleaned up.

He's all lab, isn't he! You know it's impossible for them to be still. Hope the rest of his recovery goes smoothly.

Sounds like Sammy is rearing to go. Hard to keep these labs quiet.
Oh, GEEZ! Hey, if he was playing that hard, he's got to be feeling much better. A pain in the neck, but a good sign, no? LOL!
Oh no! Hope no more of that!!
Other than that, is it healing nicely?

Awww, Sammy. We're glad that you're starting to feel better, but could you CUT THAT OUT?! You're going to give mommy a heartastroke!
Oy...but I guess we can expect this when we have more than one lab and only two eyes to watch them. You need a babycam!! ;D Hope he's okay.
sounds like he's feeling better
I know from experience that keep a lab calm is mission impossible. Especially when they start to feel better. I think it is a good sign that he wants to play, but you're the one who gets the aggro.

I think it's a sort of Lab rite of passage. You haven't truly started to heal until you pop a few stiches. All of mine have done it at least once when recovering from any kind of surgery. No matter how minor, a stitch must be popped.
