    DefaultMore Dock Dogs Pics

Still working with Duke on his jumping ability, he does ok, but not enough to win, he is about 15-16 feet, the champions are 25 feet plus. I need to find a better dock, and he need to learn how to stay. Whenever he gets around the dock he gets so excited he can not sit still.

Hunter giving it a try, unfortuntly he does not give it the full effort, he get up a full run, hits the brakes at the end of the dock then jumps in the water :-\

Looking good. The thing that is decieving is that in competition, the dog is about 2.5 to 3 feet above the water. Duke will be a natural!

Win or lose, isn't it great to see him having so much fun. Mitzi could never compete, but she gets so excited about run-jumping in the water, she sometimes is in before I have time to throw. I just love to see her have so much fun because she doesn't play very much anymore.

I think it's cute the way the woman tossing the dummy is smiling at Hunter's noble effort. Good try, Hunts!

Karen, we got Duke a couple of months after Garth died, it has been about a year now. We walked into Petco on pet adoption day with no intentions of adopting, and walked out with Duke - Half Lab/Half Chesepeke we think.

Dani - is that Rider in your sig pic? If so he does have a lot of air.

Nance - that is the better half, or the half that hates me :P

Yep. We started competing 2 weekends ago. He's jumping 16 feet.
