    DefaultFrosted Mini Wheats?

I'm pretty sure Molly would bowl a person down for a frosted mini wheat...yes A SINGLE frosted mini wheat!

I was eating them for breakfast yesterday (and right now) and one had no frosting on it and I tossed it in the air intending for it to land in the trashcan but it hit the floor first and Molly got it...you'd have thought she hit the lottery. She gobbled it up and sat there barking every time my spoon hit the bowl. Not that I hava a problem with the non frosted ones or anything but I picked them all out and put them in a baggie.

I just put 2 in her kong and she's going berzerk.

What is it about them that's making her nutsy??

We were told to give Dakota cheerios when she ate that blue stuff, to help her pass it. She likes them so well, and my moms friend give her dog cheerios all the time I figured a handful a day wouldn't hurt. They often get cheerios in their kongs. The dint seem to like their dog food in there. They would rather have PB and cheerios!

Oh no!* Cap, Remi ... someone else has dicovered our special secret!* Oh the shame and embarassment!

About twice a week I'll have a bowl of frosted mini wheats with 2% milk.* Maybe every third time it will be a midnight snack if I went to bed very early and got up hungry later.* Anyhow ... Cappy and Remi sit along side me at the breakfast table waiting to get their share.* I usually eat the first 5-6 spoonsfull before they get any.* Not that I'm being thoughtless you understand, it's just that they prefer their mini-wheats saturated with milk before I give them each a few, one piece at a time.* I pick theirs off the top with my fingers, God forbid I should spoon feed them and put the spoon back into the bowl before I'm done.

As I said earlier ... Anyhow .... if I don't go fast enough to suit them, or delay them too long between hand fed bites, the DROOL will begin to flow on both of them ... and I just about can't handle that, at least while I'm still eating milk and cereal.* So anyhow ... I save 4 mini-wheats and maybe a 1/6th cup of milk at the bottom of the bowl.* Each dawg is then spoon fed their last two mini-wheats, and then the bowl is placed on an old towel next to the table where, when told "OK", they both lap up the milk and remaining kuzu (Japanese for left over bits and pieces ie; cookie kuzu at the bottom of the can).*
    See kuzu illustration below.

Cappy's turn, easy now son ...

    Remi's turn ... easy girl ...

Ready?* Set?* GO! (Incidentally they NEVER fight or even growl when sharing. Such good puppies!)

Remi and Rusty aren't my whole life. They're trying to fill the hole in my heart left by Cappy's passing.
