DefaultWhat I've learned about having 2 dogs in the house...

Snot art on the windows reaches incredible new levels!

Even tho Taffy doesn't slobber her water, SOME OTHER DOGS do. Alot! Won't mention any names, but will just look at her and whistle.

When threatened by intruders --- i.e. a car driving by, a person walking, a gust of wind, a bug flying --- 2 barking dogs is really not much worse than one. Maybe because I'm deaf on one side from it!

Dogs shed more. Well, at least Taffy sheds more. Go figure. Maybe it is coincidence. But man! I could not believe my rugs tonight!!! And that's just the yellow I could see. Mystic is dark. My carpets are dark. Who knows what could be lurking!

Just when you've got the middle of the night walking in the dark high stepping over a sleeping dog so you don't trip and kill yourself down pat - there is another one right where you didn't expect it.

;D I hear you. With 3 years age difference my levels of snot art are different & much larger areas are covered. Also, more toys to trip over too!!!

    Oh but twice the fun.

good to know... we have been thinking of getting another dog...

I think I've grown fond of the artwork.* I went away to visit some friends last weekend and DH said I should clean the car windows before I left... I chose to leave the snot-art so I would think of CJ every time I saw it... yes - twisted, I know - but endearing nonetheless.

It took me a while to figure out why there was more than twice the dog hair in my house with one lab, than there was growing up with two dogs... now I know it is DH's fault.* He and CJ wrestle around and 'beat each other up' constantly.* The fur - both dog and human - goes flying.* My poor vacuum and I just can't keep up!

I had to rearrange my furniture I had so much snort art on my front window. Gunny thinks he is a 70 lb cat, sits on the back of my loveseat and waits for me at the window.
