Defaultintoducing a foster to resident dogs

Any tips or advise? I'm going to get a male black lab this weekend. He is going to be a foster. I know Zoey will be okay with him. Brodie my male terrier will be a little snarky at first. He accepted Zoey with a few snarls at times, but she also would tower over him face to face.* If we had her back up he was fine. I'm not sure if introducing a new dog to the two of them will be more difficult or easier.

let them meet on nuetral ground if possible and make sure all dogs involved are well exercised and worn out before they meet.

If possible take them to a park or someplace new to them all first. Then maybe take them home and take them for a walk together before going inside or let them in the yard for a little bit. I hope all goes well.

Thanks I'm sure it will. Yes we can take them all someplace first. Then will try a walk we did that with intorducing Zoey and Brodie. It worked well.
