The day has finally arrived.* We have been watching my MIL's Yorkie Terrier while she was in the hospital for back surgery.* The dog is untrained and poor tempered.* He tried to bite Tatum and Aly on several occasions and constantly challenged Jacob for dominance.* He peed in the house several times and pooped in his crate.* If left alone he cried and barked nonstop.* I finally had to tie him to myself just to keep an eye on him.*
Well, today MIL is home and Toby just left.* Hurrah!* He might have only weighed four lbs, but I feel like about 100 lbs are lifted off my shoulders because everyone (except him) was so unhappy.*
Here is a picture.* He looks deceptively adorable:
So, I'm raising my glass to everyone who has ever house-sat a bad tempered dog who survive to bark another day!
I'm Jenn. Keeper of two labs in my home and one forever in my heart.
Throw the ball, damn it!
Bye, Toby! Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!
He looks devilish!
"Each is a creature of Earth and is entitled to reside on it with dignity"
He DOES look devilish! Go pick on somebody yer own size, pipsqueak!
Seamus and Flynn
No not that inoccent looking little pup. ;D
He definitely looks like he has a 'tude. Good riddance, little guy.
Well he "is" darn cute and I'm sure your MIL loves him.* * We had a yorkie for years.* She was an absolute doll in every way.* Loved everyone.* Her one downfall was that she took forever to house train.* She was paper trained when we got her and I think that stuck in her mind for life.* Plus she wasn't fond of walking on grass.* It was good of you to look after him for your MIL.* It seems a lot of small dogs are snappy these days.* Mine never were.
clink - joining you in a well deserved beverage. bye Toby
<<Slaps a RETURN TO SENDER label on Toby's forehead>>
Amazing there are a lot of small dogs with bad attitudes. People tend to not treat them "like dogs" and they rule the roost. I'm glad he went home and you will have some peace now ;D
