    DefaultThe ripening of a nose

I have been putting all of Huckles pictures in order since he crossed the bridge.* I could not get over his baby pics with that shiny black nose.* *It soon turned, looking as if the color had been rubbed off.* Then to an unblemished, almost glow in the dark flesh color....seeming especially sensitive and usually turning very red when he would be out in the cold too long.* Finally, my favorite nose.* The nose of age....like copper with a great patina.* a deep rich color splashed with with a constellation of freckles.*

Oh how I miss my dear boy.

Beautiful Pictures. I love the one of him with the pinecone sticking out of his mouth. Such a sweet face on that boy.
