over blacks and chocolates. Yellows are easier to photograph, but today I discovered yet another advantage, When I let Judy in the house today, I noticed the "black smudge" down the side of her neck. After she got scolded for rolling in animal poo, I washed her before she got in the house. If she were a black or chocolate lab, she would have gotten away with it until later when I gave her a hug and noticed the smell.

My beloved Bess (BF, AKC bench line, 55 lbs, 1967-81) got many more whole dog baths because I couldn't see where the stink was coming from.
