As many of you know, Thor was bilaterally cryptorchid (TWO undescended testicles) and he was neutered on Friday.* The vet said that there will be some bruising..Is this bruising or is a vet visit in order?* Thanks in advance.* I just wanna make sure I'm not overreacting.* Thanks again!*

Poor baby! Is it oozy at all? It does not look minfected to me but it's hard to tell from the pic. How about the temp. is the area around the incision hot, like with fever?

No, no oozing. Not sure about the temperature. Let me check...okay, nope no it's not hot...feels normal.

Sounds like it's okay to me. Just give him lots of extra lovin'! Keep us posted if there is any change.

Looks like normal hematoma to me.

Keep a good eye on it. It should start going away in a few days. I always used a little Neosporin Pain on Tanks TPLO incisions and it worked wonders.

Looks good to me. The redness/bruising should really start to go away now. It usually gets worse 2-3 days after surgery and then goes away pretty quickly.

OUCH! Give that man a bag of frozen peas for his crotch will ya? :P Doesn't look infected to me, like someone mentioned above, a good way to check too is for heat. If it's warm or hotter then normal then somethings up. Poor little guy.

I posted my thoughts in the health section and yes, it looks normal IMO.
