DefaultOT: something other than a Dyson?

Ok, we are moving into a house with all carpeting for awhile, we have laminate now, until we get settled we will have all carpeting, but I did not want to put out the expense of a Dyson, any other suggestions for a 3 lab household?

I don't care for the Dyson. I mean it's OK but not everything its made out to be. My Kirby can clean circles around the Dyson but it's more expensive too so probably not the option you were looking for. I think some others on here have Hoover's that they are very happy with.

I have a Kenmore Progressive. So far I am very happy with it. I can't believe the dirt and dog hair it picks up. Only thing I'm not to keen on is it is bagless. In the summer, no problem, I dump the dirt in the garbage and then take the filter and whack it on a tree by the field and tons of dirt clogs come out. In the winter it is harder to get the filter clean. This filter is also washable.

I have a Dyson, but I also have a Hoover Windtunnel bagless which works very well.

I also have a Kenmore progressive that I am very happy with. Mine take bags, which is what I wanted b/c they contain all the hair and dust.

I have a Kennmore Progressive canister. It does great on carpet and hard surfaces. Also has two filters plus the bag. The down side is you need to change the bag frequently or things can smell doggy!!!
