DefaultStill Blowing Coat -- Is it Possible?

Okay ... I do think we are on week 3 or 4 of a shed like none other.* Every time we touch Sami we get covered in fur.* I am brushing her daily w/ the Zoom Groom and a shedding blade.* Lots of fur comes out each time --* sometimes almost in globs, although I don't see any bald spots on her -- or even any thin areas * I thought it was letting up -- for one whole day* : -- but now it seems like it's just as heavy as ever.* I'm just starting to wonder if something is wrong with her ... or her diet ... or if this is just the normal course for a spring "blow"?* (As if you couldn't tell, this is my first time suffering through )*

If it gives you any comfort mine are too. If I don't vaccuum every day I can almost make another dog out of the hair on the stairs alone.

Yes, it's still possible. All of mine are still shedding like crazy.

Yep, I have hair, hair everywhere. I brushed them out yesterday and it looks like snow in the backyard.

Wes just started -- he's late this year. Our 'white' bedroom carpets are 'gray.'

I know labs shed. I know they blow their coats. I was just wondering if it was supposed to last this long, and be this "heavy" the whole time. I was sort of envisioning it being like a bell curve -- gradually increasing, peaking, and then gradually decreasing. Instead it was more like one day she just started this crazy shedding, and it hasn't decreased at all. I'm hoping that one day (very) soon it will end just as quickly as it started. Wishful thinking maybe ... but it gives me hope ;D

Yes. The spring blow is the worst.

Abby has been shedding non-stop for weeks! The dog hair in my house is unbelievable. I vacuum or swiffer every day. Jack already blew his coat and stopped but Abby goes on and on and on.........!
